| The GOOD RETURN's name is derived from a historical origin, a name of a vessel that is part of my ancestry. My fourth great-grandfather was a whaling ship captain from New Bedford, MA. His name was Job Terry and is mentioned in the book TWO YEARS BEFORE THE MAST, He was part-owner and Captain of a whaler named GOOD RETURN. Since currently there are no other vessels documented in the US by the name GOOD RETURN, I thought that this name would be most appropriate for her. |
